ERIC PETERSON

Business Consultant

If Eric is one thing, it would be a creative thinker. Eric’s ability to come up with obscure, out of the box solutions quickly is one of his strongest business traits. That, along with decisive decision making and the leadership to see plans through allows for substantial progress to be made with his directives.

Problem solving and brainstorming are two favourite business activities for Eric to engage in, which makes Eric a great partner for any budding or developing entrepreneur. ‘Curiosity killed the cat’ is not a saying that dissuades Eric. Having the reputation to ‘get curious’ when it comes to business and life is a defining characteristic in order to flush out and explore ideas and concepts down whatever rabbit hole they may lead.

WHAT
WE DO

Our consulting gives you the tools to transform from an accidental entrepreneur to deliberately self-employed. Whats the point? Easy. Grow past the ‘happy accident’ that thrust you into entrepreneurship. Define your venture and legacy by becoming the servant leader your family, community and organization needs to move confidently into the future.

Black Kettle Consulting can provide the tools, experience and resources - will you show up? For you, for the people you love? If you had a chance to do it all over again, with the benefit of the lessons learned along the way - what would you do differently? This is the question Black Kettle Consulting can help you answer and offer you the chance to expedite your growth, knowledge to move forward confidently.

HOW WE HELP

How do we help? My goal is to be the person I didn’t know I needed when I started the entrepreneurship journey. I hope to help by being relatable, showing you that you don’t necessarily need a course or just one more system or piece of software before you make it; I help answer the question - what does it mean to ‘make it’? I help bring the horizon into clear view, show that the steps necessary to reach your end goal or destination are right in front of you, and hopefully show you that the desired destination shouldn’t be your goal. I don’t hold the secret to success, you do, and it’s easier to realize than you think. It’s not evident to you because the day-to-day blinds you, the fires in your business you can’t help but chase and put out daily. I help shift your perspective.

Well… That’s a lot of not answering the ‘how’ we help. The problem here is how I help is based on our partnership. If you’re not ready, humble or willing, all I ever do is preach. I want to be elbows deep in the engine bay with you, problem-solving, figuring things out and sharing my insight, learning from you and seeing you succeed. ‘How’ do I help? Here’s a clue. You’re sick, your business is sick, and you’re part of an experimental trial for a new drug to cure all your sickness. I’m the doctor administering the medication. Am I administering the sugar pill? Or the experimental drug? You’ll never know. But if you get better - does it matter?
